DESIGN OF A SAAS PLATFORM AND AN APP TO OPTIMIZE DRIVER MANAGEMENT AND TRANSPORT OPERATIONS PERFORMANCE
Redesign of interfaces, co-creation workshops, and structuring of a design system to simplify supervision and improve decision-making.
Year:
2020
Sector:
Transport & Logistics
Client:
Road
Duration:
2 years

CONTEXT:
Transport companies managed their fleets through scattered tools: driver data, activity tracking, documents, regulations — without a centralized vision. The objective: to improve the user experience of a SaaS platform for driver data and transport operations management, both on the back-office and field sides.
MY ROLE:
Participation in UX ateliers and business workshops, design of UX/UI interfaces, optimization of the back-office, and creation of the visual documentation for the Design System.
Approach:
Analysis of user needs — Participation in UX ateliers and workshops to understand business constraints specific to the transport sector.
Analysis of existing pathways — Identification of friction points in driver data management and in back-office interfaces.
UX/UI interface design — Wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to improve interface readability and efficiency.
Back-office optimization — Improvement of data supervision and operations tracking interfaces for operators.
Documentation and Design System — Creation of visual documentation (via LingoApp) to facilitate interface understanding and usage by the teams.

THE CHALLENGE:
To make technical and regulatory data (legal driving times, offenses, driver monitoring) accessible to highly diverse profiles, while ensuring that the specifications transmitted to technical teams remain clear despite the business complexity of the transport sector.
RESULT:
Improved data readability: optimized interfaces for viewing and analyzing driver information
Reduced complexity of interactions in the back-office
Enhanced consistency of interfaces thanks to the structuring of UI components and the design system documentation
Facilitated transmission of UX/UI specifications for the technical teams
